WESTERN PACIFIC (June 21, 2016) - Cryptologic Technician (Technical) 3rd Class Tyler Edwards, from St. Paul, Minnesota, and Information Systems Technician 3rd Class Anthony Walsh, from San Diego, don firefighting ensembles in USS John C. Stennis' (CVN 74) hangar bay during a damage control (DC) rodeo. The DC rodeo was a three-hour event training Sailors in various aspects of damage control. Providing a ready force supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific, John C. Stennis is operating as part of the Great Green Fleet on a regularly scheduled 7th Fleet deployment.
