PARKER, Ariz. (June 9, 2016) - Reconnaissance Marines with Maritime Raid Force, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, stow their parachutes at their landing zone following a high-altitude, high-opening air insertion at Parker, Ariz., June 10, 2016. During a reconnaissance mission, the Marines will proceed to conduct surveillance of the landing zone and nearby enemy territories, which will provide the MEU and its commander with the intelligence necessary to understand enemy presence and activities.
