U.S. Marines and Sailors stand in formation during the closing ceremony with Timorese soldiers to end Exercise Crocodilo 16, at Hera Naval Base, Timor Leste, June 10, 2016, during Task Force Koa Moana’s deployment to train with multiple nations in the Asia-Pacific region. Crocodilo is a multi-national, bilateral exercise designed to increase interoperability and relations by sharing engineering, law enforcement, infantry and combat lifesaving skills. The Marines and Sailors with the task force are originally assigned to I and III Marine Expeditionary Force. The Timorese soldiers are with the Timor Leste Defense Force.
