Petty Officer 1st Class Benson Silie meets his 2-month-old son Braden for the first time after an eight-month deployment aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz. Sailors were reunited with friends and family pier-side as Nimitz pulled into Naval Airstation North Island after a routine deployment. Nimitz returned to its homeport in San Diego after an eight-month deployment to the Western Pacific.
