Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion-31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, III Marine Expeditionary Force, carry the colors during the CLB-31 change of command ceremony June 2, 2016 at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. Lt. Col. Eric C. Malinowski relinquished command of the battalion to Lt. Col. Siebrand H. Niewenhous IV at the ceremony after 24 months of leading the battalion through multiple international training exercises, as well as disaster relief efforts after Super Typhoon Soudelor in Saipan during August 2015, and Operation Chinzei after a series of earthquakes in Kumamoto, Japan in April 2016.
