2nd Lt. Nicholas Calderon, a platoon leader from Eagle Troop, 2nd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, stationed out of Vilseck, Germany, uses radio communications to receive a Liquid, Ammunition, Casualties and Equipment (LACE) report from his squad leaders during a blank fire iteration of a field training exercise at Tapa Training Area, Estonia, June 2, 2016. Eagle Troop conducted a six-hour platoon level training lane during their rotation in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve to test the Soldiers' strength and endurance. Operation Atlantic Resolve contributes to regional stability through enhanced land force multinational training and security cooperation activities taking place in each of the participating countries, strengthens relationships among allied militaries, and improves multinational interoperability.
