(May 29, 2016) — Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician 1st Class Tom Bassillo, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 12, surveys a helicopter landing zone from an MH-60S Seahawk during an aviation demonstration at Liberty State Park, N.J. as part of Fleet Week New York 2016. Fleet Week, now in its 28th year, is the city's time-honored celebration of the sea services. It is an unparalleled opportunity for the citizens of New York and the surrounding tri-state area to meet Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen, as well as witness firsthand the latest capabilities of today's maritime service.
