160526-N-EB301-148 STATEN ISLAND, New York (May 26, 2016) - Sebastian Samartano, a World War II veteran, shows his service documents to Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Timothy Oldfield and Lance Cpl. Anthony Muratore assigned to 3rd Battalion 6th Marines, Weapons Company Scout Sniper Platoon. Oldfield and Muratore were volunteering for Meals on Wheels as a part of 2016 Fleet Week New York (FWNY). FWNY, now in its 28th year, is the city’s time-honored celebration of the sea services. It is unparalleled opportunity for the surrounding tri-state area to meet Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsman, as well as witness firsthand the latest capabilities of today’s maritime services.
