NEW YORK (May 25, 2016) - Sailors and Marines man the rails as USS Bataan (LHD 5) prepares to moor in New York for Fleet Week 2016 (FWNY). FWNY, now in its 28th year, is the city's time-honored celebration of the sea series. It is an unparalleled opportunity for the citizens of New York and the surrounding ti-state area to meet Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen, as well as witness firsthand the latest capabilities of today's maritime series.
