160518-N-QW941-208 PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii (May 18, 2016) Crew members aboard hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) man the rails as the ship prepares to moor in Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Deployed in support of Pacific Partnership 2016, Mercy's mission is designed to emphasize multilateral cooperation and building mutual trust in the Indo-Asia-Pacific. Medical, engineering and various other personnel embarked aboard Mercy will work side-by-side with host and partner nation counterparts, exchanging ideas, building best practices and relationships to ensure preparedness should disaster strike.
