A U.S. Army AH-64E Apache helicopter pilot, assigned to 1st Battalion (Attack Reconnaissance), 229th Aviation Regiment, 16th Combat Aviation Brigade, 7th Infantry Division, provides an aircraft orientation during emergency egress training with firefighters and U.S. Air Force Airmen at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., May 11, 2016. The training also included a hands-on exercise simulating actions to recover and injured or incapacitated pilot during an emergency.
