Emergency vehicles from Joint Base Lewis-McChord Fire Rescue participate in emergency egress training with U.S. Army AH-64E Apache helicopter pilots, assigned to 1st Battalion (Attack Reconnaissance), 229th Aviation Regiment, 16th Combat Aviation Brigade, 7th Infantry Division, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., May 11, 2016. The training included an aircraft orientation and a hands-on exercise simulating actions to recover and injured or incapacitated pilot during an emergency.
