Eva Dukesz Friedlander, a Holocaust survivor, receives a hug from a 335th Signal Command (Theater) Soldier who attended the Holocaust Day of Remembrance May 14, 2016 at East Point, Georgia. Friedlander spoke with Soldiers one on one after the event allowing them to ask questions. During the 335th SC(T) battle assembly weekend, the Equal Opportunity Office conducted its annual observance of the National Day of Remembrance, which was established by Congress in 1980 to ensure the victims of the Holocaust are remembered forever.
