JOLON, Calif. – A combat medic adjusts the straps of a litter securing a simulated casualty during a multi-unit mass casualty exercise at Fort Hunter Liggett’s Tusi Airfield, May 9. The realistic exercise was apart of the Fort’s 16th Annual Warrior Exercise and the scenario encompassed a simulated helicopter crash, which had burst into flames and 32 casualties laid scattered around the helicopter, where the medics were to give aid and evacuate if needed.
