Girl Scouts from Troop 1486 in Hatteras Island, North Carolina, gather to show their support for the British Navy at the war memorial ceremony Thursday. Many people don’t realize the importance behind the event until they attend, said Nicole Fairbanks, the troop leader. When four of her girls and their parents volunteered to attend, she sensed their support and said that there will be a specific badge given to the girls for participating.
