As his unit demonstrates the capabilities of M777 A2 towed Howitzers, Capt. Brandon Cummings (right), commander of C Battery, Field Artillery Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, turns to point out areas of interest to distinguished guests and senior leaders during Summer Shield XIII, April 28, at Adazi Military Base, Latvia. Soldiers from five North Atlantic Treaty Organization nations, including Latvia, Canada, Germany, Lithuania and the U.S. have been conducting a variety of training together during Summer Shield XIII, an annual two-week long interoperability training event in Latvia.
