Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner (right) speaks with Polish Brig. Gen. Adam Joks, Commanding General of the Multinational Brigade LITPOLUKRBRIG, during a reception held April 8, 2016 at Camp Lincoln, Springfield, Illinois. Governor Rauner provided opening remarks at the joint training exercise, Prairie Assurance, that incorporated the Polish officer, Illinois National Guardsmen and civilian emergency response officials to learn how to best respond to a pandemic. The Illinois National Guard has been partners with Poland since 1993 as part of the National Guard's State Partnership Program
