Under the direction of a noncommissioned officer, Soldiers with 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), load on to a CH-47 Chinook during a cold load training event at the Joint Readiness Training Center, Fort Polk, Louisiana, April 8, 2016. The cold load training, supported by crew chiefs and pilots with 3rd Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, provided the “No Slack” Soldiers an opportunity to gleam situational awareness without the risk or stress of rotors moving on the aircraft. The training covered loading and unloading on to CH-47 Chinooks and UH-60 Blackhawks, staged with and without seats. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
