Deano Miller, a rifleman with Company K, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, from Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., and his dog, Thor, a military working dog with the company pause, Jan. 31 on a patrol at Combat Center Range 220. The battalion will be taking the dogs and handlers with them overseas in the spring.
