Lt. Col. Brian Nesvik of Pinedale, Wyo., commander of the Wyoming Army National Guard's 2nd Battalion, 300th Field Artillery, 115th Fires Brigade, teaches a Wyoming Game and Fish Hunter Education class at Camp Virginia in November 2009. Nesvik, a Wyoming game warden, was the first to teach the course in a combat zone. He taught the final evening class while wearing the Wyoming game warden's distinctive red shirt and gold badge. Students received their certification cards in January.
