U.S. Army 1st Sgt. Michael Warner of Cody, Wyo., assigned to the Wyoming Army National Guard's 2nd Battalion, 300th Field Artillery, 115th Fires Brigade, reviews materials before a Wyoming Game and Fish Hunter Education class, taught by Lt. Col. Brian Nesvik, the battalion's commander, at Camp Virginia in October 2009. Nesvik, a Wyoming game warden, was the first to teach the course in a combat zone. Students received their certification cards in January.
