A vast frozen landscape features a prominent pressure ridge — a jagged line of uplifted, fractured ice slabs running diagonally from the foreground into the distance. The scene is bathed in cool blue light under a clear sky, suggesting low-angle sunlight typical of polar or sub-polar regions. The flat, snow-covered ice extends to the horizon on both sides of the ridge.
