Kristofer Meals, flight medic, 3rd General Support Aviation Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, steady as he is hoisted back into the UH-60 Black Hawk, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, March 18. The Soldiers on the ground constantly watch and adjust the tension on the rope to keep Meals and the patient from spinning, which could cause further injury to the patient.
