The Marine Corps Color Guard presents colors at the beginning of the Relief and Appointment ceremony aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif., March 3. The Color Guard colors presentation is a traditional ceremony showing respect to the flags, the Nation, and those who serve and have served. The Relief and Appointment ceremony was conducted to transfer base sergeant major duties from Sgt. Major Karl D. Simburger to Sgt. Major Sergio Martinez.
