U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Mary Junell (left), a North Carolina National Guard Soldier deployed to Kosovo with the 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team, hands paperwork and identification tags to Spc. Bryan Pociatek, a postal clerk for the 912th Human Resources Command Postal Team, for the duffel bag she is mailing home through the Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo, post office’s Feb. 27, 2016, postal “rodeo” for redeploying Soldiers. The troops provided free food and longer postal hours to encourage Soldiers preparing to return home to mail packages early and avoid the last-minute rush. The post office mails over 200 packages and letters a day and serves not only Camp Bondsteel, but also Soldiers assigned to MNBG-E’s Forward Command Post at Camp Marechal de Lattre de Tassigny.
