John Richardson transits the San Diego bay aboard a “combatant craft medium” boat alongside a “combatant craft assault” boat assigned to Special Boat Team (SBT) 12 during a visit of San Diego and Naval Special Warfare. The CCM is a reconfigurable, multi-mission maritime surface tactical mobility craft with a primary mission to insert and extract special operations forces in a medium threat environment.
