The Global Health Education Medical Operations Course, hosted by Regional Health Command-Pacific, began Feb. 6 with a class consisting of representatives from the Army, Navy, Air Force and the Department of Defense at the U.S. Army Reserve’s 9th Military Support Command, Fort Shafter, Hawaii. Over the course of three days, Military leaders increase their understanding, from a global health perspective, of the purpose and significance of Military Health Engagements and the impact such engagements can have on military operations and international relationships worldwide.
