Gunnery Sgt. Scott Parker hands water to an Okinawa resident at a water point during the Tedako Walk 2016 Feb. 7 aboard Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan. The two-day event promoted healthy living while allowing participants to view historical sites. “This walk has been going on for over a decade now,” said Parker, operations chief with 3rd Supply Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 35, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force. “It helps give everyone a better appreciation and understanding of each other.”
