Eisenhower (CVN 69), takes off in an F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the Gladiators of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 106 from the flight deck of the aircraft carrier. Dwight D. Eisenhower is currently underway preparing for the upcoming Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV) and conducting carrier qualifications.
