North Carolina National Guard Soldier, Sgt. Colin Kalescky, assigned to the 105th Military Police Battalion Headquarters, Headquarters Company, helps Charles Harbison, an 86-year-old resident of Asheville, N.C., as he exits a Humvee following transport for his dialysis treatment Jan. 23, 2016. Harbison called 911 emergency after discovering there was no way for him to make it to the center due to the severe winter weather and because of the overwhelming volume of emergency responses in the region, the NCNG was called to assist and transport Harbison in the hazardous conditions.
