Gulf of Oman – A U.S. Navy Sailor, with the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group (KSGARG), deployed aboard the USS Arlington (LPD 24) signals the USNS Medgar Evers (T-AKE 13) while cargo is transported across the water to the Arlington, during replenishment-at-sea operations (RAS) in the Gulf of Oman, Jan. 8, 2016. The Sailors with the KSGARG and Marines with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, embarked aboard the ship, are currently deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
