Gulf of Oman – U.S. Navy Sailors with the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group (KSGARG), embarked aboard the USS Arlington (LPD 24), detach ropes from cargo transported during replenishment-at-sea operations (RAS), from the USNS Medgar Evers (T-AKE 13) to the Arlington, in the Gulf of Oman, Jan. 8, 2016. The Sailors with the KSGARG and Marines with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, embarked aboard the ship, are currently deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
