The Sailors stand by to meet their sponsors after completing the Reagan's Ranch course where they were given an introduction to the customs and culture of Japan and received basic damage control instruction. Ronald Reagan provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
