A military motor grader is performing road grading or drainage work along a muddy path adjacent to a perimeter wall made of HESCO barriers topped with concertina wire. The machine is pushing wet soil and mud, with standing water visible in a channel to the left. The setting appears to be a forward operating base or military installation in an arid environment.

Using the grader, Spc. Thomas Modica, of Merriville, Ind., 317th Engineer Company, smoothes out a portion of the road to mitigate standing water at the ammo supply point, on Victory Base Complex, Dec. 28. Soldiers from the 317th Eng. Company worked to redistribute soil at the ammo point to improve the drainage system.
