Kirby Wasson, gunner, Mortar Platoon, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 30th Infantry, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, plays the role of "bad guy" during a demonstration on how to handcuff a suspect to members of the Emergency Response Unit at the Emergency Response Unit compound in Kirkuk, Iraq, Dec. 26, 2009. The U.S. soldiers taught ERU how to bring down a suspect, regardless of size, and properly handcuff the suspect to help improve the professionalism and capabilities of the ERU.
