Timothy Gwynn of Amarillo, Texas, both from the 569th Engineer Company, 4th Engineer Battalion (Task Force THOR) explain the capabilities and employment of the self-protection adaptive roller kit, a modular mine roller system, to Lt. Gen. William G. Webster, Third Army commanding general, during a Christmas Day visit to Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. Reed and Gwynn are combat engineers who regularly conduct route clearance missions in southern Afghanistan.
