A soldier in combat gear and helmet is operating a crew-served weapon system mounted on top of a military vehicle, likely a HMMWV (Humvee). The weapon is actively firing, as evidenced by the large muzzle flash and fireball visible on the right side of the frame. An ammunition can is mounted to the weapon system, and the scene appears to be in an arid or desert environment.

SGT Cory Johnson of Sardis, Ohio, a cavalry scout with the 1st Infantry Divisions 3rd Brigade Reconnaissance Troop, fires an AT-4 shoulder-fired anti-tank rocket into a building in eastern Fallujah Nov. 10 after receiving sniper fire from that location. The BRT was deployed to Fallujah as part of Operation Al-Fajr, an operation to wrest control of the city back from insurgents.
