Soldiers from the Multinational Battle Group-East Forward Command Post run in the Reindeer Dash for Cash shadow run, held Dec. 6, 2015, at Camp Marechal de Lattre de Tassigny, Kosovo, in honor of Capt. Christopher S. Cash. Cash was a member of the North Carolina National Guard’s 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team’s 2004 deployment to Iraq, where he was killed in action while serving as a company commander. The 30th ABCT’s 1st Combined Arms Battalion, 252nd Armor Regiment, is serving as the MNBG-E FCP, and held the day’s shadow run in concert with a worldwide effort to honor Cash’s memory.
