TANDUO, Malaysia (Nov. 13, 2015) U.S. Marine Col. Vance L. Cryer addresses Marines and Malaysian soldiers during the closing ceremony for Malaysia-United States Amphibious Exercise 2015. Cryer is the commanding officer of the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. The purpose of MALUS AMPEX 15was to strengthen military cooperation in the planning and execution of amphibious operations between Malaysian armed forces and U.S. Marines. The 15th MEU is currently deployed in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to promote regional stability and security in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt.
