First Lieutenant Victor McLean (left), native of Fayetteville, N.C. and platoon leader and Sgt. 1st Class Pablo Flores (right), native of Los Angeles and platoon sergeant, both of 3rd Battalion, 69th Armored Regiment, 1st Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, get further instruction from an Estonian soldier on how to operate an Estonian radio, during Exercise Rahulik Kodu on the Kuperjanov Training Base, Nov. 6. This is the first year that U.S. Soldiers, any foreign soldiers, are able to participate in the Estonian security exercise. These activities are part of the U.S. Army Europe-led Operation Atlantic Resolve land force assurance training taking place across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland to enhance multinational interoperability, strengthen relationships among allied militaries, contribute to regional stability and demonstrate U.S. commitment to NATO.
