A Multi-place Underwater Emergency Egress Trainer, commonly referred to as dunker, is lowered into the water during helicopter egress training at the Aviation Survival Training Center, Cherry Point, N.C., Oct. 23. Dunker is used to replicate a helicopter crashing into the water and rolling over, forcing all inside to escape, even in pitch-black conditions. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt.
