Army Reserve Brig. Gen. R.A. Bassford, 88th Regional Support Command deputy commanding general, and Chaplain (Capt.) Charlie Bechtold, 88th RSC chaplain, render honors to Rutherford B. Hayes during a presidential wreath laying ceremony at his tomb in Fremont, Ohio, Oct. 4, 2015. The ceremony served as the capstone event for a weekend celebration at the Hayes estate known as Spiegel Grove. The celebration included hundreds of Civil War-era costumed re-enactors, period exhibits and a Battle of Opequan re-enactment.
