Former Marine WM. A. Wolf cuts a slice of cake for Lance Corporal Ian M. Traditionally at Marine Corps birthday celebrations, the oldest Marine present will cut a piece of cake for the youngest, symbolizing the passing down of wisdom, traditions and experience to younger generations of Marines.
