151013-N-GG458-086 USS Arlington, At Sea (Oct. 13, 2015) Seaman Gabrielle Maldonado, from Houston, Commanding Officer Capt. Sean Bailey, from Lansing, Kan., and Chief Warrant Officer James Prioleau, from Augusta, Ga., cut a cake made in celebration of the United State's Navy's 240th birthday on the mess decks of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24). Arlington is underway on her maiden voyage as part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group (KSGARG) deployment in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet areas of responsibility. The KSGARG includes Commander, Amphibious Squadron 4, USS Kearsarge (LHD 3), USS Arlington (LPD 24) USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) and 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (26th MEU).
