Command Sgt. Maj. Ralph Johnson, the senior noncommissioned officer for the 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team and Multinational Battle Group-East, speaks to a group of competitors following the unit's October Soldier of the Month competition, held Oct. 3, 2015, on Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. Johnson, a veteran leader of the North Carolina National Guard's 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team, has been serving in Kosovo since July 2015, as part of NATO's peace support mission in the region.
