A helicopter arrives and sets down it's sling-load cargo on the landing zone of Forward Operating Base Thunder, Nov 5. Sling-load deliveries are performed when the cargo is hooked up by a sling under the aircraft and transported through the air. It takes an extreme amount of care to place the cargo on the ground safely without damage.
