A Soldier from 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment (Red Currahee), 101st Airborne Division, uses a building to provide cover as he fires on enemy forces in the training village of Zamania during Network Integration Evaluation 16.1 Oct. 5. The 506th was at Fort Bliss testing communications equipment as part of the Network Integration Evaluation, or NIE 16.1. The ground assault was the last phase of the testing.
