The 37th Commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. Robert Neller, speaks to Marines of Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., about his expectations for the Corps’ future during his visit to the station Oct. 7, 2015. Neller emphasized that the capability of the modern Marine is the driving force behind new hardware implementation. “We’ve got these highly capable machines,” said Neller pointing towards a static MV-22 Osprey, the only tilt-rotor aircraft type in the Marine Corps arsenal. “They are paperweights without the Marines who man them: the pilots, the crew chiefs, the technicians and the mechanics. The most important thing in the Marine Corps is you.”
