The South Carolina Helicopter Aquatic Rescue Team rescued 26 stranded citizens in flood-affected areas in South Carolina, Oct. 4, 2015, after deploying from McEntire Joint National Guard Base in Eastover, S.C. The South Carolina Helicopter Aquatic Rescue Team, or SC-HART, is a collaborative effort between South Carolina Army National Guard aviation units and the State Urban Search and Rescue Task Force (SC-TF1). This program utilizes professional rescuers from SC-TF1 and highly trained pilots and crew members from the South Carolina Army National Guard. Together they make a cohesive unit capable of performing helicopter rescues using the UH-60 Black Hawk. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Lt. Col. Cindi King / Released)
