Task Force Summit Soldiers, Australian security forces conduct joint training

An Australian force protection team leader shows U.S. Army Sgt. Jason Grandberry, a section sergeant with Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (LI), how to operate an 84mm recoilless rifle during a joint training session held in Taji, Iraq, Sept. 27, 2015. The training allowed the U.S. Soldiers to understand the Australian capabilities and become more familiar with their vehicles and weapons. Charlie Company and the Australian forces are paired together as the camp’s quick reaction force.
